Kids Become Master Magicians

According to this article (Youths turn into master magicians -- source Gazette.Net) young kids turn into master magicians after learning all about magic at a Wizard’s Workshop at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, Maryland. There were about 20 third, fourth and fifth graders that attended the workshop. There they learned various magic trick secrets including coins, cards, coloring books, rubber bands and magic wands.

The kids were really excited. One of the kids, who performed a hat trick, amazed at his advancements, wants to perform magic tricks for birthday parties when he grows up.

The great thing about learning how to do magic tricks is that it builds confidence, moral and self-esteem. There seems to be a lot of interest in magic tricks now more than ever. The popularity of Harry Potter and illusionists like David Blaine, Chris Angel has increased the overall interest in magic tricks.

Let’s hope that these kids continue to grow in their learning of magic tricks. Most of all, continue to have fun and enjoy the satisfactions that come with performing magic tricks!
